How common is nausea in pancreatitis?

Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas. Nausea may occur with pain in the upper abdomen that can spread to the back, vomiting, fever, a tender abdomen, or feeling generally unwell. In some people, pain and vomiting are more prominent than nausea. Nausea alone cannot identify the cause because stomach, gallbladder, medication, infection, and other problems can produce the same symptom.
