How common is facial swelling in angioedema?

Angioedema is swelling beneath the skin or lining tissues. It often affects the lips, eyelids, cheeks, tongue, hands, feet, or genital area. The skin may feel stretched, heavy, or uncomfortable rather than itchy. Some episodes occur with hives, while others do not.
