This may cause monthly lower abdominal or pelvic pain, a feeling of pressure, constipation, difficulty passing urine, or a bulge at the vaginal opening. The absence of a first period can be the visible clue, but delayed puberty has many possible explanations, so it should not be taken as proof of this condition.
