Hives on humans: symptoms, triggers, and safety

Hives may be skin-coloured, pink, or red and can itch, burn, or sting. A person may notice one area clear while another appears. Triggers include heat, cold, pressure, exercise, infection, foods, medicines, and contact with an irritant; sometimes no single trigger is found.
