What should you know about Glytone chemical peel?

Chemical peels are applied for a planned contact time and then removed or neutralised according to the formulation. Glycolic acid is one exfoliating ingredient used in some peels. The intended effect is smoother surface texture and a more even appearance; temporary stinging, redness, tightness or peeling can occur. A peel is not suitable for every rash, wound or pigment concern, and active irritation can increase discomfort.

Have a trained clinician assess your skin, current products and history of cold sores or pigment changes before treatment. Follow the preparation plan, including any pause on irritating actives. Afterward, use the recommended gentle cleanser and moisturiser, protect treated skin from sunlight, and do not pick peeling areas.
