How to get rid of pimples and dark spots

Inflammation from a pimple can leave a brown or grey mark after healing. Dark patches can also reflect Melasma, Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation, Sun Spots, or Tinea Versicolor, so colour alone cannot identify the cause. Picking and harsh products can create more irritation and marks.
