How to get rid of a double chin

A double chin, or submental fullness, is extra fullness beneath the chin. It may reflect a local pocket of fat, looser skin, facial structure, genetics, or a combination. Weight change may alter it, but this area does not always change in proportion with the rest of the body. A new, firm or one-sided lump is different from soft fullness and needs medical assessment.
