Food poisoning without diarrhoea

Diarrhoea is common in foodborne illness, but it is not required. Different germs and toxins affect the digestive tract in different ways, and symptoms can change as the illness progresses. Get medical advice for repeated vomiting, inability to drink, worsening or localised abdominal pain, blood in vomit or stool, severe weakness, dizziness, confusion, or very little urine.
