Radiofrequency energy warms targeted tissue through an applicator. The treatment aims to support collagen remodelling and make mildly loose skin look firmer over time. It may be considered for areas such as the face, neck, jawline, or body, depending on the device and provider. It does not replace surgery when there is substantial excess skin, and it does not correct every cause of sagging.

During consultation, the provider should assess skin thickness, laxity, sun damage, facial balance, and any underlying fullness. Confirm the device being used, the treatment area, expected sensations, visit plan, and aftercare. Tell the provider about implanted electronic devices, metal in the treatment area, reduced sensation, active skin disease, and recent procedures. Mild warmth or temporary redness can occur, but contact the provider for persistent pain, swelling, blistering, burns, marked numbness, or a new contour change.
