Can stomach cancer cause persistent indigestion?

Indigestion may feel like burning, discomfort, fullness, belching, nausea, or pressure after eating. Stomach cancer can affect the stomach lining or the movement of food, producing these sensations. Reflux, gastritis, an ulcer, infection, food triggers, and medicines can also cause persistent indigestion. A change that does not settle deserves attention even when symptoms seem mild.
