Does prescription antiperspirant treat pitted keratolysis?

Pitted keratolysis is a bacterial condition affecting the pressure-bearing skin of the soles. It can cause shallow pits, a strong odour, and softened or soggy skin, particularly when feet stay damp inside shoes. A sweat-reducing product may make the environment less favourable for recurrence, but active disease may need clinician-directed antibacterial care.
