A water-based lubricant can reduce friction during sex, while a regular vaginal moisturiser may support day-to-day comfort. Wear breathable underwear if it helps. Ask a clinician or pharmacist about suitable local or systemic treatments, especially if you have a history of hormone-sensitive illness, unexplained bleeding, or other medical concerns.

Arrange a review if dryness persists, causes pain, affects intimacy, or comes with discharge, odour, sores, bleeding, or urinary symptoms. Seek prompt care for severe pelvic pain, fever, heavy bleeding, or rapidly worsening symptoms. Bleeding after sex or after menopause warrants medical assessment, even when dryness is also present.
