Does cone biopsy help with bleeding after sex?

Bleeding after sex can come from an easily irritated cervix, infection, dryness, a polyp, or changes that need closer examination. A cone biopsy removes a cone-shaped piece of cervical tissue and is generally chosen to diagnose or treat certain abnormal cells, rather than to investigate every episode of bleeding.
