During chemotherapy, contact the treating team urgently for a fever, shaking chills, new shortness of breath, chest pain, confusion, uncontrolled vomiting, severe diarrhoea, unusual bleeding or a sudden decline in how you feel. Chemotherapy can reduce infection-fighting blood cells, so follow the team's temperature threshold and emergency instructions exactly.

Call emergency services for severe breathing difficulty, collapse, marked confusion or signs of a serious allergic reaction such as facial swelling and trouble breathing.
