Does cervical cancer cause bleeding after menopause?

After menopause, bleeding may come from thinning or irritation of vaginal tissue, polyps, hormone medicines, infection, or changes in the womb, cervix, or nearby tissue. Use urgent services for heavy bleeding, faintness, severe pain, fever, or marked weakness. If the bleeding is light and you feel well, arrange prompt outpatient assessment rather than monitoring it at home.
