What should you know about Claritag skin tag removal?

A skin tag is a soft, flesh-coloured or darker growth that often hangs from a narrow stalk, commonly around the neck, underarms, eyelids or groin. A bump that bleeds, changes colour, becomes painful, grows quickly or has an irregular surface may not be a skin tag. Visual assessment matters because warts, moles and other lesions can look similar.

A clinician examines the bump and discusses options such as sterile snip removal, cautery or another method suited to its size and position. Do not cut, tie off or burn a growth at home, and avoid unregulated removal products; these can cause bleeding, infection, burns or a delayed diagnosis.
