What should you know about carbon laser peel facial?

The clinician spreads a carbon-based lotion over the face and lets it settle before passing a Q-Switched Laser over the area. The laser interacts with the carbon, helping lift surface oil and debris and improve the look of texture and dullness. The procedure is different from a liquid chemical peel and does not address every cause of acne, scarring or pigmentation. A facial examination should consider active acne, eczema, rosacea, infection, recent sun exposure and medicines that increase sensitivity. Skin tone also affects the settings and the discussion of possible temporary colour change.

Arrive with clean skin and tell the clinic about recent procedures, tanning, cold sores, allergies and your regular skincare.
