What should you know about buying mifepristone and misoprostol?

Do not buy tablets from social-media accounts, informal sellers, or websites that cannot verify a licensed pharmacy. Unverified products may contain the wrong medicine or strength, be damaged, or arrive without safe-use information. Access and permitted uses are regulated in the UAE, so a licensed local service should confirm the current requirements.

Mifepristone blocks progesterone activity. Misoprostol softens the cervix and causes the uterus to contract. Depending on the clinical situation, these medicines may be used in care for pregnancy loss or other obstetric and gynaecological treatment. The correct medicine, route, timing, and follow-up are not interchangeable between uses.

Go to an emergency department now for very heavy bleeding, fainting, severe weakness, confusion, difficulty breathing, or severe abdominal pain. One-sided pelvic pain, shoulder-tip pain, dizziness, or collapse can occur with internal bleeding from an ectopic pregnancy and require immediate assessment.

Seek urgent medical advice for fever that persists, worsening pain despite the recommended pain relief, foul-smelling vaginal discharge, or feeling increasingly unwell. Contact the prescribing service if bleeding does not occur when they told you to expect it, pregnancy symptoms continue, or you cannot complete the arranged follow-up.

Ask whether the pregnancy location has been confirmed, how each medicine should be taken, which effects are expected, what level of bleeding requires emergency help, and how treatment completion will be checked.
