Keratosis Pilaris Before and After AmLactin

Keratosis pilaris forms when keratin collects around hair follicles. A lactic-acid moisturiser can hydrate the surface and loosen some built-up scale, so the skin may feel smoother before the colour of bumps changes. Results vary with formulation, consistency, dryness, friction, and whether the diagnosis is correct. Compare photographs taken in similar light, with the same body area and distance, and record stinging or redness as well as texture.
