Early swelling can make the chin look larger, asymmetric, firm, or irregular before the product settles. Bruising and tenderness may also distort the shape. A sudden increase in pain, pale or mottled skin, unusual coolness, or blistering is more concerning because filler can interfere with blood flow. Contact the injector and describe when the change began, whether pain is increasing, and whether the skin or sensation has changed. Send clear photographs if requested, but arrange an examination when the result is painful, worsening, or persistently uneven. Keep the treatment record, product name, batch information, and timing available.

Do not massage, squeeze, puncture, or add more filler unless a qualified clinician specifically advises it. Avoid using leftover medicines or trying to dissolve the product at home. Gentle cleansing and ordinary sun protection can protect irritated skin while you wait for advice.

Seek urgent medical assessment for severe or escalating pain, pale or dusky skin, blisters, rapidly increasing swelling, pus, fever, or spreading redness. Get emergency help for trouble breathing, facial swelling affecting the throat, confusion, weakness, or any sudden vision change. These symptoms should not wait for a routine review.
