What should you know about Boroline for dark circles?

Under-eye shadows may come from inherited skin tone, visible blood vessels, rubbing, sun exposure, dehydration, eczema, or a hollow that creates a shadow. A balm may reduce dryness temporarily, but it does not fill a hollow or reliably change pigment. The thin skin around the eyes is more reactive than skin on many other body areas.

If the darkness is accompanied by itch, scaling, redness, or swelling, atopic dermatitis or contact irritation may be contributing. A clinician can distinguish surface irritation from a structural tear-trough hollow and suggest a targeted option.

Avoid putting Boroline on the eyelid margin or in the eye. If you choose to try it on nearby skin, use a very small amount on intact skin and stop at the first sign of stinging, redness, swelling, or watering. Do not rub the area. Use a fragrance-free moisturiser made for the eye area, protect the skin from sun, and address allergies or rubbing with professional guidance.

Do not use a household antiseptic balm as a substitute for a product formulated and tested for the eye area. Cosmetic or injectable options should be discussed with a qualified clinician after the cause is identified.

Arrange assessment for one-sided or rapidly changing darkness, persistent swelling, a rash, pain, discharge, vision changes, or marked irritation. Get urgent help for sudden vision loss, severe eye pain, or facial swelling with breathing difficulty. Seek advice if rubbing is frequent or the skin keeps cracking.
