What should you know about bockhart impetigo?

Impetigo often begins where skin has been scratched, bitten, irritated, or affected by another condition. Small blisters or red sores can break open and leave yellow-brown crusting, commonly around the nose and mouth but also on the hands, arms, legs, or other exposed areas. It can spread through close contact, shared towels, clothing, or personal items. Scratching transfers bacteria to new sites.
