Blue heartburn pill: what to know before taking it

Different medicines can share a colour or shape, while the same medicine may look different between manufacturers. Heartburn may come from Acid Reflux, irritation such as Gastritis, or less commonly a Peptic Ulcer or Hiatus Hernia. Get emergency help for chest pressure, breathlessness, sweating, faintness, or pain spreading to the arm, jaw or back, because these can resemble a heart problem. Seek prompt medical review for vomiting blood, black stools, difficulty swallowing, persistent vomiting, unexplained weight loss or severe worsening pain. Repeated symptoms deserve assessment rather than frequent self-treatment.
