What should you know about bebird otoscope?

The device combines a light and camera so an image of the ear canal or eardrum may appear on a connected screen. An image can be difficult to interpret because wax, skin, angle, lighting, and movement change what you see. A normal-looking picture does not rule out infection, pressure behind the eardrum, or hearing-related problems.

Do not push the tip into the ear canal, use it to remove impacted wax, or use it when there may be a perforated eardrum unless a clinician has advised you. Keep the device clean according to its instructions and stop if there is pain, dizziness, bleeding, or distress. Arrange medical assessment for severe ear pain, new hearing loss, fluid or blood from the ear, swelling around the ear, marked dizziness, or a fever with a child who seems unwell. Seek urgent help for facial weakness, severe headache, confusion, or a rapidly worsening illness.

Ask whether the image shows wax, irritation, or a possible infection; whether the ear canal or eardrum was fully visible; and whether you need hearing testing, treatment, or a follow-up examination.
