Aqualyx fat dissolving: before and after

Useful images show the same body position, camera distance, clothing, lighting and muscle tension. Immediately after injection, inflammation may temporarily enlarge the area and obscure its outline. Later images can also be misleading if posture, weight or lighting has changed, so photographs should support an examination rather than replace it.

Aqualyx is intended to alter a selected fat layer. It does not promise a particular silhouette, erase cellulite, strengthen muscle or reliably contract loose skin. A subtle reduction may be meaningful in a small deposit, while a broad or structurally complex concern may show little visible difference. The clinician should define the intended endpoint before treatment.

Take baseline photographs before the area is marked or numbed, and record any pre-existing dents, asymmetry, scars or altered sensation. During recovery, follow the specific cleaning, activity and comfort instructions supplied by the clinic. Avoid repeatedly squeezing the area to test for change, as irritated tissue may become more tender.

Keep review appointments even if the change seems small. An in-person assessment can distinguish remaining fat from swelling, firmness and loose skin. Before accepting another session, ask the practitioner to compare the examination with the agreed goal and explain whether additional product would address the same concern or add avoidable risk.

Obtain prompt advice for pain or swelling that worsens after initially easing, spreading redness, increasing warmth, pus, blistering, dark or unusually pale skin, an open wound, new muscle weakness, or sensation changes that interfere with normal movement. Breathing difficulty, fainting, facial or throat swelling, and rapidly progressive symptoms require emergency care rather than waiting for a routine follow-up.

Ask which visible feature the injections are expected to change and which features will remain. Check when standardized photographs will be repeated, what normal swelling and firmness look like, how asymmetry would be managed, and what finding would make the clinician recommend stopping. It is also reasonable to ask how an alternative method differs in recovery and suitability for your tissue.
