Get prompt medical care for eye pain, light sensitivity, a red eye with facial herpes, difficulty passing urine, extensive lesions, severe headache with confusion, or symptoms during pregnancy. Babies, people with weakened immunity, and anyone who is very unwell need urgent clinical assessment.
