Silicone gel sheets sit directly against intact scar tissue. Their covered environment can help some raised, firm or uncomfortable scars become more manageable, although the response differs between scars. The word “Conform” in the product name should not be treated as proof that the sheet suits every body contour or scar; comfortable contact without creasing, pulling or rubbing is the practical test.

Use the package leaflet for product-specific details such as trimming, cleaning, reuse and storage. Do not assume that instructions from another silicone brand apply, because sheet construction and adhesive properties can vary.

Confirm that the incision or injury has closed completely and is not draining. Wash your hands, gently clean the area and allow it to dry before application. Place the sheet as the leaflet describes, avoiding tight stretching across a joint or skin fold. A clinician can help with positioning when movement repeatedly lifts or bunches the material.

Build up wearing time in line with the supplied directions and your skin's tolerance. At removal, look for persistent redness, softened white skin, edge marks or an itchy rash. Take off the sheet if it causes burning, blistering, skin breakdown or a spreading rash, and seek advice before restarting.
