If you have not yet tested, contact the clinic instead of choosing a new testing schedule yourself. If you already have a result, follow the stated plan for confirmation or reassessment.

A positive result shows that pregnancy hormone was detected; it does not by itself confirm where the pregnancy is developing or how it is progressing. Clinics may use repeat blood testing and later ultrasound follow-up to answer those separate questions.

Pelvic twinges, mild cramps, breast changes, tiredness, bloating and light discharge may reflect hormonal medication or early pregnancy. Symptoms may fluctuate from one day to the next. Their presence, absence or sudden easing is not a reliable substitute for clinical testing.

Continue every prescribed fertility medicine at the instructed dose and time. Arrange refills early enough to avoid missed doses, and check with the clinic before using pain relief, herbal products or other over-the-counter treatments.

Note any bleeding, pain, temperature, vomiting or increasing abdominal swelling so you can describe the pattern clearly. Normal daily movement is generally reasonable unless your clinic has given restrictions based on your own procedure or symptoms.

Call the fertility service the same day for increasing pain, period-like bleeding, fever, repeated vomiting, substantial bloating, reduced urine output or any symptom your care plan identifies as concerning.

Go to urgent care for heavy bleeding, intense abdominal pain, pain focused on one side, shoulder-tip pain, fainting, severe weakness or breathing difficulty. A positive pregnancy test with pain or bleeding deserves prompt assessment because the pregnancy location may need checking.

Useful questions include whether the hormone test needs repeating, when an ultrasound would be appropriate, what changes to expect in medication, and whom to contact outside clinic hours. Ask how your specific transfer details influence the schedule.
