These warning signs require assessment regardless of any pregnancy-test result.

Confirm the exact testing date, whether the clinic wants a blood or urine test, and how results will be communicated. Ask what to do with every prescribed medicine after a positive, negative or unclear result. If you have spotting or discomfort, describe its location, severity and whether it is changing so the team can give specific advice.
